Television

Just a quick review here:

Fans of Trashwire might also enjoy My Name is Earl on NBC. It's on Tuesday nights and stars Jason Lee. It's actually quite funny for an NBC comedy, I wouldn't even call it a sitcom since that's such a dirty word these days. The jokes are funny and it's done in the new laugh-track-free style pioneered by The Office and Arrested Development.

If you didn't watch Britney and Kevin: Chaotic this time around, be sure to check out the re-runs and marathons MTV keeps showing. I must warn you, this show is only for those with no gag reflex because it will make you throw up if you're not careful. The tag line is "Can you handle our truth?" and, though I could, there are probably many of you who just won't be able to handle Britney's truth.

I must recommend Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Robot Chicken which air during Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. Both shows are hilariously quick witted and feature refreshingly simple animation. TiVo these shows today or rent the Aqua Teen DVDs on Netflix!

Check out Growing Up Gotti, that's all I'm saying. The first season was great because we liked everyone, but now they've shown their true colors and it's fun to watch for new reasons. John is still hot though.

Music

Annie Lennox' Bare CD is heartfelt and brilliant. When she does the
writing herself her albums are keepers, collaborations and covers...
not so much.

Prince's Musicology tour is by far one of the best shows I've ever seen. It's like the best of James Brown and Michael Jackson. Plus, Prince uses a center stage to make the huge arena feel like an intimate club.
