Tara Reid doing some serious acting

This morning's article on Tara Reid was quite interesting. Tara has apparently made her big attempt at serious acting, which , as you all remember, was previously denied her because the press kept unfairly characterizing her as a drunken, talentless, slut. Which according to her, she is not.

Anyway, Tara was in a movie, "Alone In The Dark" ,which opened last week. It got horrible reviews, and immediately tanked. Which is hard for Tara to deal with, beacuse she worked really hard at her first serious role. How hard did she try? I think it's best if we let Tara speak for herself:

"It's a totally different role than what I normally play, and I really enjoyed it. I wore almost no makeup. My hair is pulled back, and I'm wearing glasses. I'm basically trying to spread my wings a little, starting to play roles that I was too young to play before."

Fot those of you who want to see a "serious" Tara, I have attached a photo.

See, Tara knows that good acting means a new look. If you want to look serious, you should wear glasses, and pull your hair back, and wear minimal makeup, which in Tara's case appears to mean only pink lip gloss, super-tweazed eyebrows, and cheek-bone defining blush. You know, what REAL women wear. Well, super hot scientific type women anyway.

And did you notice her really brilliant touch. In order to complete her serious look, she has a clipboard.! Because if you have a clipboard, you must be doing something really important!

Do you think Tara spent the weeks leading up to her performance getting "in character"? Like, maybe, she wore almost no makeup at home, or at the 7-11. Or maybe she pulled her hair back when she went to an awards show. Or wore glasses to bed. Anything for Art.
