The Michael Essany Show Review:
This show looked like it had some potential, until I saw it. I'm all for the idea
of anyone being able to have a TV show, but it's too bad it couldn't be something more original. Essany seemed like he was
just trying to copy other late night shows like Leno, and he wasn't adding any of his own style to it. His guest was Kelly
Rowland from Destiny's Child. She was nice and it was cool to think a big star would go on a little show like that, but Essany
didn't really use that to his advantage. Rather than asking her interesting questions, he merely used her to set up his own
lame jokes. He acted like a 65 year old rather than a college student. I think the show could turn around, but for now, you're
better off watching Letterman.
